In the rural town of Ballyfeely another plot has been filled. Unfortunately, for brothers Tony & Brendan it has been filled by their dear mother Margaret. In the wake of her death, first born Tony must take up the responsibilities as head of the house. In particular, caring for his timid and naïve younger brother Brendan. Things take an unexpected turn when a mysterious visitor calls to the house.
